Fix: Window Roll Up Poping Out of Vent Track
« on: June 24, 2009, 10:08:53 AM »
Don't know if this is a common problem, but my windows have always jumped out of the vent track every time I rolled them up causing the felt to lip over and generally mess things up. I had to hold inward pressure on the glass to keep it from happening.

What I noticed was that the window was moving backwards on the way down. So I took the panel off, reached down and grabbed the rear track and bracket and bent the bracket to move the track toward the front of the door. Windows stays in the track now!

Amazingly simple fix to something I've lived with for years.
