Back fire

Just bought new plugs new wires new dist cap and coil pack.new pcv valve. all new fuel lines new vac lines...And its all seald real good no leaks ...its all on right...And i have no emsion stuff ...So any one no y i got a back fire? and o yea its only after i left off the gas ... i think it might be the dist gear...??? ...Its a 1986 k10 4x4 with the V6 4bbl setup

Too much unburned gas in the exhaust system is a usual culprit. The fuel ignites in the hot exhaust.
Another cause can be oxygen entering the exhaust system by means of a leak in the pipes someplace.

Have you plugged off the air injection lines going to your exhaust manifolds?? I had the same problem on my 4.3 S10 when I opened up the exhaust, between every shift and during downshifting it would be a non-stop backfire. pulled the air injection off of the exhaust manifold and plugged the holes and the backfire disapeared.

yep that worked out fine i pluged the oped lines and it stoped  thanks
