The 1 thing my machine shop told me to do once the motor built oil pressure (verified by the gauge and the valvetrain with the valve covers removed) was to rotate the motor by hand a few times then repeat the priming process. I'm not sure what this accomplished or if it was necessary. Has anyone ever heard of this?
Tight bearings because I plan on running a lightweight synthetic oil and changing it frequently.
