steering column wires
« on: March 29, 2006, 09:28:00 PM »
In the continuing saga of my hacked up truck, I realized that I have no hazard flasher switch.  This is usually on the steering column, correct?  The pull-up round knob?

Well, the guy must have had a column problem, because there is a cut out spot.  Underneath, there is a set of 4 very small wires, almost like a ribbon cable.  They rundown the column to a connector under the dash, and then into a bigger harness.

Any ideas what this might be for?  Is this my hazard light wiring?

I concur, that would be for the cruise control.
