I went to the Piedmont Traction show this past Saturday.
It was great.
C10's and other Chevy trucks as far as the eye could see.

My truck randomly and suddenly shut off this past Saturday after running great. After some quick trouble shooting I figured out that the fuel pump was not running. I have pulled the fuel tank in and out of this truck more times than I care to count. This time I opted to pull the bed off. After some further testing I found a broken ground wire. I fixed it and she fired right up. Since the bed was off I took the time to do some cleanup. Straightened out some wiring and re-routed my fuel lines. Then I pressure washed everything real good. Then I ended up replacing some tail light bulbs and fixed my right front turn signal.
She's ready to roll. 😎

When I get ready to really do the paint I will do the frame and everything underneath.
For now I just want to drive it.  8)
My pics won't load. I'll get them posted tomorrow.

As she currently sits.
After doing the Belltech 2"/4" drop kit, the front end didn't go down a whole lot.
The rear went down significantly. I actually had to raise it up a notch.

Nice work!

If she were my gal I would lay down a flat/matte clear coat to preserve the patina.

You know....
That is definitely the style these days.
I understand it but, I'm not into it really. It's just not me.
Maybe if this truck had a more eve and natural patina it would be different.
I am actually looking forward to getting it painted back the "light blue metallic" it rolled out of the factory with.  8)

I'm with you on the clear-coat thing...just doesn't look right.

He guys, I added some of these speaker brackets for my 6"x9"s. I marked and drilled the necessary holes in them and then scuff sanded them. Then, I sprayed them with rubberized bedliner stuff to kind of deaden them so they don't resonate. I stuffed the holes behind them with a moving blanket. Rocking some tunes in the Blue Beast.
I also ordered a Belltech swaybar kit to go with the shocks and everything else I did last month.
I try to keep a steady flow of cash aimed at my truck.  ;D

Front and rear anti-sway bar installation is complete.
She's rolling flat.
It feels good.  8)
