The mirrors I have, they won’t cover the holes. It had the large mirrors before and I’m putting the sport mirrors on it.

Nice looking paint job. Since it is fresh, repairing to holes and repaint will not be that bad.

Thanks Badge, it looks like that from further away, it has some spots where it has to be wet sanded with 1000 grit and polished. But getting color on it was a year long battle. Guy had it for 7 months cause he was doing it in his spare time.

4500 bucks for paint and bodywork, the bed was shot out too. I did the tear down though and I’m currently putting it back together. I’ll post pics when it’s complete.

Well it looks great and I’m inspired. I’m in the middle of a restore and I’m getting antsy to get to the body and paint. Keep the pictures and progress coming.

Thanks man, I’m using door panels and dash from TMI, got a good deal on them. The rest will be original. The seat Is original and I plan on upholstering in a black/white houndstooth.

Thanks Popper, didn’t think about the stitched dash not going with a bench, I also thought about a newer Yukon or blazer back seat, just building the mounting brackets.

Hey Popper, I’m not sure if this is a Cheyenne or a Silverado, the badges were shaved off when I bought but I’m planning on putting them back on. I’m leaning towards it being a Cheyenne, the tailgate has the smaller band. It was originally a diesel. Any ideas on what it might be? I’m pretty sure it’s not a custom deluxe, it was carpeted at one point and has the trim under the back window.

That is a gorgeous truck, can't say I have a comment about C vs S, but there are other forums.

If you can find a newer Yukon or other, good to go, but if not, go with stitched seats, will add serious value to your truck.
