Hello all! I have been a long time creeper of this site. Got my account and thought Id share my build from the last couple of years. Back story, I had this truck when I was 15 and bought it from mowing lawns. I took my wife to prom in it, (I asked her to be my girlfriend with that dollar, she was a car hop at sonic :) )learned everything I could with my old man about drivetrains, and sold it to go to college. A few years in my job I found it and bought it back! I decided to build it like my 16 year old self would have. I have a small shop in Oologah, which gave birth to my part time business. Ill try to document it from here out better. This pickup went through the Moore OK tornado before I bought it back.
The NightFury has a protouring feel which may not be everyone's cup of tea, its inspired by dreamworks... HTTYD :D

Front suspension design prototyping phase.. 1st/2nd iterations
-
3rd iteration IFS and rear 4 link fab/design prototype. Also motor mounts and trial fit with the lq4/4l80e combo.
-
Clean up and finalized prototype chassis suspension, the front is all bolt on. Ceramic coated. LQ4 installed mocked up. This took a few times to get right ;D

Sweet ride brother. Awesome work. Keep us updated.

Cab back from blasters, the window picture was after I used some tubes and a floor jack to straighten where a tree had fallen on it.. I am no body man haha
-
Ride height demos becasue I couldnt NOT look at it haha also steering problem solved!

The most current pictures as of last week.. the S480 BW Turbo and hot side, I made a hot side and the hood wouldnt close haha. so this is the next iteration... very tight! Also first picture is coil brackets as well, I made some quick ones with the table and had them coated, they look good to me! I will be updating hopefully once every two weeks as the build progresses. Thanks!!

Heh, I'm not racing him. ::)

Sooo glad you covered that ugly firewall!!
Seems to get overlooked by some ::)

Thanks everyone for the nice words! It has truly been awesome to get to do all this. I’m currently working in the cold side and then I need to wire and fire. Here is a update for the turbo oil lines, fuel lines, and the power steering hydro boost lines. I didn’t like them much but they are growing on me!

Cool work brother! 8)

Very nicely put together!. Should be quick, are you going to run it at a drag trip?
-
Thanks Shifty! Mike I'm not sure yet, Tulsa's strip is about 20 minutes south of me and keep day dreaming every time I pass it! The only reason I wouldn't is the cage issue.. I probably will not run one as this will mostly be for cruising :D

So the cold side is done, pardon the welds.. my aluminum skill is lacking practice and patience. Ended up having to order a new radiator to clear the bottom port, where I places my sway bar.

She's going to be one mean animal!! Please buy a lot of insurance... 8)

Not the best photos.. but got the down pipe made and on! Intercooler mount bracket is done as well!
Question.. What are yall using for radiator hoese? I was thinking of doing some 90° couplers with a solid tube??
haha Johnny, I hope to! My biggest fear is a deer will take me out..
