Saturday, Nov 5th, 2011: Sorted out all the wiring on the Diesel Harness, pulled some connectors from the internal harness and plan to splice them into the existing gasser harness (Water in Fuel circuits)

Sunday, Nov 6th, 2011: I got all of the wiring in the Diesel harness sorted out and removed what I didn't need from it; secondary Alternator, and assorted wiring, TH400 plug/wiring.
Repaired the Temp sending from the Gasser harness, spliced the long side Alternator to the main circuit wire to match the gasser.
Removed the Water in Fuel light harness from the bulkhead along with the grounding for the Wait Light.

Now I just need to loom it up with the Glow control wiring and mount the Glow relay and the Filter Assembly.  AND find a throttle cable and figure out how the 700R4 TV connects and get that for it.

A lot of homework goes along with this build, more than just nuts and bolts. Good job on the tedious and unknown stuff Capt.
Real trucks are built, not bought Build thread

Give me a long enough lever and a place to stand, and I shall move the earth or break this bolt...Whatever, just hold my beer!

Ok, this this is about to to be a Gasser again..  I can't find the TV cable bracket that goes with the Diesel (PN 14038643) and without it I can't drive this thing.
If I can't find it in the next day or so the TBI that came out of the 89 is going into this one..

I thought I was getting an AC mount from Jamie.  Everything came today and it is the wrong one.  Plus I think I have to get a power steering pump without the reservior.

For the A/C mounts i was at the local pick and pull last Saturday and found a 1990 Suburban with the 6.2 and A/C. Someone had already pulled the trans iirc it had a TH400 though. Ill be going back this Saturday to get the clearance lights and harness if you need anything. I Took a few pic of it and have them on my computer at home if you need.

Saturday, Dec 3rd, 2011: After receiving a new open plenum intake, valve cover and fill tube, TV bracket and 85-93 Glow controller, started the disassembly of the topend.  Got the intake and valve cover removed.  Cleaned it up and installed the new TV bracket, glow controller and then put the valve cover on before it got too dark.

Saturday, Dec 10th, 2011: put the new intake on with associated parts.  Removed the power steering assembly to verify the mounting for the AC pump brackets.  Found they didn't work.  Need to find a remote reservoir for the existing pump to go with the Hydroboost I am installing.

Sunday, Dec 11th, 2011: Pulled the Vacuum booster assembly off the truck, mocked up the Hydroboost assembly.

Monday, Dec 12th, 2011: Talked to Diesel Depot and he found a truck with the brackets I need.  Hopefully will be getting them next weekend.
