So am I, not quite as well paid though. Still looking into the possibility of a Turbo cam or just rolling with a zo6. Want 550 to the wheels if i can get it there without 12 pounds of boost, even better.

MOAR TOYS!

need fuel line, fuel pump, boost controller, blow off valve, and to figure out the cam situation, and some decent freaking weather. (and if i can swing it a 2 step and a line lock but thats on the hush... lol)

decided to swap the rear to run disc brakes and after that its just miscellaneous bits and pieces. (weight savings!)  :D

popped the shocks off tonight, did some test fitting of the turbo and the hot side piping on a mock up motor, waiting to hear on some fuel tank brackets.

belltech has seriously given me the wrong part number for the c-notch 3 times. about to flip it, order a thorbecke and call it a day. my bed isn't pristine anyway.  :-\

At least they are serious about giving you the wrong part number. ;)

i know, they're killing me, how do you not know the correct part number for a part you manufacture and sell.

all the dually guys are being quiet on what the correct number is and the part number is stamped on the darned thing. half the crew cab square dually's on the road are lowered.

got the squid cut off today, got the fronts of the leafs unhooked, all the brake stuff cut.

pretty much cut the u-bolts off, remove some springs, and the rear end will be flipped. oh and remove the stupid bumpstops because i dont have the correct c-notch.

look ma no squid!

hmm brake brackets came in, they look pretty legit.

gonna opt to just run with no e-brake, the caddy setup seems viable, just too much expense for the loaded calipers, et al.

flip kit that was guaranteed to fit my truck is waaaaaay off. closest thing i've found is that it might be for a dana 80 ???

trying to find out if a c20 kit will work, so far noone has one in stock to take actual measurements. hoping lowering the front goes smoother than this.

assembled the new gas tank tonight out of disgust for the lowering debacle. went disturbingly well, everything fit perfectly. even came with the correct adapter to plumb the walbro into the chevy wiring. i kept waiting for something to be wrong, what a relief.

walbro looks factory -

paint on the ebay brackets is drying, paint the back's tomorrow. hopefully get it all back under the truck saturday.

ordered a c-20 kit, western chassis says it'll probably fit. hopefully be here relatively soon. ready to get the rear back together so we can get the front dropped and the crappy old 350 yanked out.
