I was looking at one for my 01 Silverado a while back, wife got pregnant, plans change..lol

They make some nice looking setups and from what I've seen and read over on PT.net, make some real power.

Looking forward to the write up on this.

They are nice.  My brother is a dealer for them.  We R&D'd the 99-up for them (for absolutely NOTHING in return)
His truck just put down 605hp and 767lb/ft at the wheel on 15lbs of boost on a stock 02 6.0L engine, (bigger injectors and meth injection)

If you ever get the itch again, let me know.

Friday January 23, 2009: I aquired a halftop for a 73-75. no pics right now, but it looks like the one Mike Phillips has
Friday February 13, 2009:  I went and picked up the remaining portion of the cab.
Saturday February 14, 2009:  I cut the windshield frame off and started removing the passenger side rocker box

Friday February 20, 2009: Lined up another Fulltop conversion that has another windshield frame and full top.  I am going to pick it up in Nashville on the 21st.

Saturday February 21, 2009:  I cut the drivers rocker box off and cut the trans tunnel out and the quartered the remaining pieced up for scrap. I also started addressing the shoddy patching on my Jimmy...

Weekends of Saturday April 4th thru June 6th, 2009 : started pulling the botch job that the Previous owners bodyman attempted.  Which was just cover up the rust not fix it.  There are several areas where I am going to have to undo ard redo on this truck.  I am tempted to have it blasted and start fresh, but...  Both driver and passenger areas has repair pieces tacked over some MAJOR rust, the rocker on the drivers side was replaced, but it is all alone, no backing plate and was seamed to the floorpan.  Drivers side the rocker was just fit over the existing one that is rusted out completely.  Both sides had slip over floor supports and the rear supports are rusted through.  Over the course of the next few weekends (other priority projects distracting) I have removed most of the rust enough to order some major pieces (still need more the deeper I get)  I really don't now how I am going to address this yet, but....

If it keeps raining today I will be pulling the wiring out along with anything else that I feel will be in the way.

Here is the carnage so far as of June 7th, 2009
