cab mount and rocker question
« on: August 25, 2009, 04:46:16 PM »
Am getting ready to put on new rockers and cab mounts and wanted to know if it is possible to get the rocker off with out changing the inner rocker.  My inner is not rusted and wanted to leave it alone.  Is the rocker spot welded on the top and bottom of the floor?  I can not really tell and don't want to butcher it up. Also what is the best way of removing the cab mounts.  I tried drilling out the spot welds but could not get on them all.  Seems too tight to get a grinder in .  Maybe a burr bit on the spot welds or cut wheel.  What have you guys done to get them off.

Just cut it out with a die grinder. For the rocker, you need to cut it carefully to save the inner.
