Hello fellas , everytime I go to the gas station and try to put gas in my 74c10 stepside I make a mess , I can’t get the dispenser in far enough without it spilling back out , sorry for the dumb question

Smaller vent hose next to the large fill hose could be kinked or plugged as well as the filler hose.

Are you in CA? I have the same problem on my fleetside because the hole is kind of aimed down instead of all these newer cars that are aimed up so the nozzle doesn't want to stay on so I gotta hold it pretty firm and gas sill sometimes comes out. Theres a lot of stuff on the nozzles to keep the gas fumes from coming out so the metal part is shorter

Yea that’s happening to me I’ve been using a funnel with a long end my hoses are brand new and the gas tank is new I’ll double check them

Figured out the problem, when I changed the fuel tank filler neck I put the metal piece that attaches to the side upside down , it has a slight tilt and I had it pointing up , I’m such a dummy
