Bumper filler Panel ?
« on: July 23, 2019, 07:53:55 PM »
I just put a sport bumper on my '77 K10  and it looks good, but there is quite a blank space between the bumper and the bed.  I know Suburban's had a filler panel there.   will one of those fit a pickup?  has anyone done this ?

I can live with it as is if that's how it's supposed to be but I thought I'd ask.

What kind of bumper did you replace, a dock?

My 78 has a stock chrome bumper and it does have spacer plates that cover the space between the bed.

I never see aftermarket products, let me know if the Burb works, I need a pair the the '80 I'm working on.

Thx!

A pair ?  all I've seen is a one piece plastic one.   and I haven't found any reproductions either.

Is it a step side? Mine are steel.

It's a wide box.   the plastic one I looked at was on a '79 Suburban.    I think it would work but it's messed up.
