Yes, i think Facet has a few that are self priming and can lift 50" inches or more:

i'm thinking of trying this one:
http://www.facet-purolator.com/dura-lift-pumps.php

They say that one can self-prime to 10 feet.

i am also looking at the holley mighty mite which looks to be the same as the facet pro-flow and K+N also has their version:
https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/fuel_pumps_regulators_and_filters/fuel_pumps/carbureted_electric_fuel_pumps/parts/12-427

i don't know why you are wanting to run an electric pump, but in my case my new engine does not have a provision to run a mechanical pump.  And i looked underneath the truck and it's not easy to mount most gravity fed electric pumps close to the tank unless i drop the tank and that's too much work.  So i too need a pump that isn't gravity fed.

Another pump that may work is the Airtex E8012S:

They say it should be installed within 2-3 feet of the tank and said nothing about mounting it below the tank.

All these pumps, including the Airtex e8012s i believe are electronic pulse type which apparently are self priming and don't mind pushing fuel.

Yes, that one too looks like it can work as a self-primer.  Where will you be mounting this one?

i mounted it inside the cab right next to the fuel tank lol. i put a toggle switch on it and it also runs to a key "on" power. you can hear it when theres no fuel in it then you will hear it get quieter when fuel reaches it. it does have a min dry lift of 12" but i did also run a fuel line to the supply on the original fuel pump to syphon the fuel out of the tank and it took it a while but it did prime

on the mud truck yes. if this was my DD i wouldnt be there or even if i ran it on the streets. main reason i put it there was so i could just simply look at it and see how much fuel and so i could hear the fuel pump running

lol bluejeans and a t shirt. but its a plastic boat tank and fuel itself isnt just going to ignite, you need a spark or heat source. theres nothing around to cause this a fire would be more likely in the engine bay where you have the heat and spark.  so as long as everything is secure and you dont rip a fuel line off a fitting theres no risk same deal with derby cars/trucks/ you have to relocate the fuel tank to inside of the cab and secure it to the floor. they dont catch unless a fuel line gets ripped

So i got the pump installed and it works well:

This particular model is very quiet---usually can't hear it with the engine running or not.

Installation very easy----i just took the 3/8" rubber line from the steel line that runs from the tank and hooked it to the 90 degree barb (Edelmann # 831260  1/8" NPT to 3/8" barb)  The fitting on top is Russell # 660450  1/8" NPT to -6A/N.   Didn't have to cut into or modify anything.   Used existing holes in frame for the bracket which i custom built from materials from home depot---2 Simpson strong-tie brackets riveted together.

Ground was easy---grounded to frame as you can see.   12V directly from fuse box when key is on.  The pump only uses 1.5 to 3 amps so it's ok.  Although i will eventually use a relay.  i just needed the truck running asap

Pump is Facet Duralift #40303.  This one self-primes to 5 feet, although some models self prime to 10 feet!

This one puts out 4.25 to 6.25 lbs.   i'm running a quadrajet, so i probably only need 2-4 lbs.

is your fuel inlet hose touching that bracket?

No, i know it looks like from the angle of the pic that the fuel line, negative batt cable, pump ground cable are all touching the bracket and i need to tidy things up, but i needed the truck running ASAP.  Hence, the mess.
