1973 to 1977 1/2 wheel hubs
« on: July 30, 2019, 07:18:36 PM »
I have a 1976 k10 with one piece hub and rotor assembly. I cant find new hubs anywhere and my rotors are shot. Has anyone else dealt with this?

The hubs for 73 to 77 1/2 are not the same as late 77 to 87. The dimensions and bearings are different. I learned the hard way because i bought parts for an 86 k10 and they didnt fit right. Then i got the numbers off the frame and its a 77. 73 to the first half of 77 is different then the second half of 77 to 87.

I havent seen one piece rotor and hubs anywhere. I can get rotors for a 2 piece setup but ive only found one place that has hubs available  and theyre used and 200$ each. I cant be the only one to run into this problem

Haven’t seen any early small bearing hubs out there either other than used.
Can’t say I even knew there were one piece 4x4 hubs out there.
Guess they were available as a replacement at some time.
My 74 has the original hubs and are 2 piece.
You’ll need the spindles and hubs from a the later larger bearing setup.
The inner bearing is slightly larger IIRC.
