I have a 77 K10 with a 4inch lift and I want to put the lift kit in my 85 K10, whats involved?

Not much involved.  The front springs need to be swapped.  The rear probably has lift blocks which will need to be swapped.  Check your u-bolts over and replace if necessary.  Alot of people only use them once then just get new ones each time for piece of mind.  You may need longer brake lines, but im not sure.  Also you may need a different steering arm, if you do it is probably on the truck with the lift.  This is all that comes to my mind off hand.

Budy of mine got the 4" lift on his 85 k20 and did not need the brake lines; however my neigbor got the 6" and he did need them, along with a drop arm for the steering.

I've been told on the 80s 4wd 1/2 tons for a 4in lift, a lift kit with springs, u-bolts, shocks and etc is all you need with leaving the brake lines and steering alone.

I'm in the works of getting a 4in lift for my 85 k10. I want new springs in the back instead of lift blocks.

the brake lines have had to be lengthened on every 4" lift I've seen.  If you were to lift the truck up and let either the front or rear axle hang down, the brake lines will be stretched to their limit.  On my last truck the brake lines were supporting all of the weight of the axle and tires.  I got an extra 1 1/2" of travel after i installed the longer brake lines
