Life springs usually have a brand name in yellow spray paint on top of the top-most leaf.  Look in your wheel well down over your tire.  Also, what size tires do you have?

I've got 4" lift springs up front.  Take a mesaurement from the top center of your tire to wheel well and tell us what it is.  Then we can tell you how much lift you've got, if any.

Arch: positive or negative?
« Reply #4 on: February 18, 2003, 12:46:00 PM »
Look at the front leaf springs.  Do they go down, into a "frown" (negative arch)?  Or are they like a smile (positive arch)?  The original springs on these 4x4's come with the negative arch (fronts only).  If it is barely positive, it is likely a 2 or 2 1/2 inch lift.  If the arch is more noticeable, it is likely a 4 inch lift up front.

Sounds like you've just gotta lift the front now.  It's not bad, you need springs, shocks, and U-bolts.
