Got most of the exhaust done yesterday. Hopefully today I'll finish up, first thing is to clean up the disaster area. The woman convinced me to eat Mexican food and have a margarita last night and after that my motivation ended quickly. I was supposed to get my wheels back on Wednesday but they delayed because of the weather.... hopefully Monday
Here's a few in progress pix

Cleaned up my disaster area and welded in the H-pipe. It sounds great, nice n deep. I put the H-pipe up high and out of the way and put the mufflers just before the axle. I took a video of it idling and it has a great tone when revving.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Too many hours to count into this project. It started out as a mutt that was just going to be a compounded organ donor recipient until I decided I loved this truck and wanted to make a nice build out of it. It should be on the road this Spring! Then I can get back on my 74

I'm looking forward to all of that. Brooke bought a car so she has something to drive when we get back after her truck. Dad is slacking and doesn't have a garage built yet.

The garage is key, and of course a sanctuary
I took it on its maiden voyage despite the wet roads. Made me very happy!!! I have a few tweaks to do but overall it's awesome. I took a few pics and video. I'll upload the video later if anyone is interested.

Yes, video please!!
Looks amazing! They didn't treat the roads down there did they? They did some of the roads up here in southwest NH.

In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!

VZ, that is an absolutely beautiful truck! I don't know if I would change anything about it! I can't wait to see the video of it running.
How does The Mutt ride/drive?

Thanks guys sorry I tried to post the video the other night but it wouldn't work so I'll upload it to youtube in a few and post a link. I have to put the fender badges on and am still considering the black lower molding. I can't do that until I finish buffing the paint but I'm waiting til I can do it outside to save me from trashing my garage with spatter. Rides great, need to install the new rear driveshaft tonight, check the fluids, adjust tv cable etc. This weekend i'll work on buttoning things up so I can get back on my 74

Once it warms up again I'll take a video of what it sounds like ripping down the road. It's FREEEZING outside and the roads arfe too salty again.
