I am currently putting a mcleod clutch, lakewood bellhousing with inner blast shield and a m21 on a small block. I had my flywheel turned down to true it up. My bellhousing has a fixed style pivot ball. They want a distance from motor/bellhousing flange to pivot ball to be 4.75". How crucial is this number? Am I going to need an adjustable pivot ball to compensate for the turned down flywheel? Or just crank the one in that came with the bellhousing and check for play and should be good?
Side note, this flywheel, clutch, bellhousing, and transmission all was together and running in a chevelle. Only things that changed is flywheel being turned down to smooth out, and different motor.
Any help would be appreciated
