Thanks. I got a really good deal on it. Previous owner thought he had a bad lifter but it was only loose rockers. Needs some work but......

Wish one that nice would fall into my lap ;D  I am working on getting a 1987 to convert it to a short bed crew cab, undecided on whether to go 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton axles in it...  Wanting to make it as stock looking as possible but with the 4 high back bucket seats in it....

Man if I found one that clean, I would buy it in a heartbeat, since I will be starting a second family next year, I will need something besides my 74 reg cab, or my bikes.   ;D

No, just means you are one lucky guy, I don't think there is anybody on here that wouldn't pay a grand for that truck.

Yea ... im pretty stoked about it. Id been looking for over a year for a good clean square body to make a daily driver out of but most where just junk or out of my price range or both. This one belonged to my daughters new boyfriends dad and when I commented on how cool it was the boyfriend gave me a funny look ::) and said his dad wanted to get ride of it. So I didn't waste any time. I killed a lot of birds with this truck. Four doors for kids (got 3 ) plus it a one ton to pull my hot rods and race car trailer with.
