The problem with full time transfer cases is that its harder on the front end components than a part time case.

i wouldnt call that a problem. i would call that the same wear and tear that is happening to the rear end components.

There are far more components to the front end axle then there is on the rear end axle that gets worn out and fatigued. You'll do more work sooner and be more costs on the front than the rear.

I just want to report back... Hi-Loc on a 203 with unlocked hubs = rear wheel bliss only.

Reviving a dead thread...

IMHO a full time t-case in a 73-87 is no better than a all-wheel-drive car today. Of course that can be taken many different ways... ;)
