Does anyone no where to find a roof skin or patch panel for square body trucks? I have an 83 c10 with a sunroof that I would like to remove. I looked online and only found roof skins for 67-72 chevys. I am just figuring out my options to either patch the roof or swap the entire cab. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Matt.

Welcome to the site from NW Indiana...
Never seen them available for our trucks, probably have to find a donor and cut off what you need.

Welcome from California. I am with zieg, I have yet to see any source on the web.
Though you can contact the owner of the site (chris, by hitting the banner at the top of the page) and see if he has any contacts for roof panels. Good luck.

I would just cut one off a junk yard truck . Usually even if the cab is shot, the roof is in good shape . That way you'll get the inner panel also . You will need to melt out the lead filler with a propane torch and drill out the spot welds .

In NH that's where the rust usually stops...just before the roof. lol
That's is a ton of work to put a new roof on. I would swap the whole cab first if you could find a good one.

I remember reading somewhere that GM used to sell them in the dealerships, but was discontinued serveral years back. I'd cut up a yard truck if it were me.

Well not sure what I will do yet, but thanks to you guys for the replies. Either way that sunroof will be gone. :)

Your only option is getting a roof from a donor.

Cut the roof off from another truck, and weld it onto your cab.Just make sure you take measurements and take your time.
thanks
