i have a 87 gmc 1ton dually 4*4. the cross member that holds up the carrier bearring was rotted bad. i cant find a new one so i am gonna have to make one. my only concern is what is the proper angle of the driveshaft and how do u find the proper angle?

Someone with a 2 piece would have to measure the factory angles for you between the two shafts to give you a good number. You can measure it with an angle finder.
Have you considered a one piece shaft? I had Camerota's build me this one to replace my 2 piece.

Yeah Camerota truck parts in Enfield. I did a ton of work on their sales reps 55 chevy so he hooked me up with a good deal but the guy in the driveshaft shop is cool. I'm sure he'd give you the best deal he can.
