install rear cab molding on '79
« on: March 18, 2018, 06:46:17 PM »
I purchased the rear cab molding and the clips and am ready to attach the clips.  There are no existing clips to use as a reference so I am unsure what direction they need to be installed.  One side of the clip has a tab in the center, the other side has two curved tabs.  Does anyone know which side should be up towards the window?

Thanks Captain.  i've seen the video during my search.  The issue I have run into is i have seen tabs installed both ways.  On a '75, i saw them installed with the two tabs facing down.  The Kevin Tetz video shows the installation on a 81-87 and the tabs are installed in the opposite direction of the 75.

Maybe Vile or one of the others knows for sure. I've never taken one off.
