Ok i bought this truck in montana and it has headers and small little mufflers that look like small cherry bombs , the problem is after i let off the throttle the truck pops and crackles out the exhaust , is it normal? for this set up ? it only does it if you step into the trottle and back off

Where does the exhaust pipe end? What your hearing is backforong and its from cold air beong sucked into the exhaust pipe and combusting with the hot exhaust gasses. My truck does it any time I let the throttle out. But, I have headers with glasspacks that dump like a foot in front of my gas tanks, under my cab.
