Their axles are way overpriced. Keep searching Craigslist and the local papers, maybe even hit up some junkyards. GM 60's are pricey but if you pay more than $1200 or $1300 you're getting ripped off.

what year dodges fit? we have a 92 cummins here with a dana60 thats been rebuilt, far as i knew though id have to cut it down to fit. and i work in a salvage yard or junk yard or whatever lol we dismantle and fix cars but we have a lot full of scrapped cars. so i have access to alot of different yards across canada and the states but almost everyone i call who has one listed tells me its a dana44. i guess im just not lucky or something hah oh well ill keep looking and thanks for the help guys

Shouldn't have to cut any thing but Dodge kept passengers side drop till I think late 90s

so any input on where to look would help hahah as stupid as that sounds

Try to find a complete truck in rough shape. I've bought a bunch of old K30 plow trucks with Dana 60's in the $1000-$1500 range. Keep checking craigslist.

well i found a 1/14 ton dana60 with a matching 14bolt out of and ex military truck with 4:56 gears for 800 so i might be going for a drive to toronto in the next week or so. from what i can see its not to bad of a deal mind you its an 18 hour drive from where i am but its worth it hah.

IMO. That isn't going to be good for highway. For crawling yes mud yes but your rpms will be high on the street

figured as much, there wont be much highway driving and if there is it'll be for a half hour tops if that majority of it will be bush wacking and in town a bit

good place to buy rebuilt diffs? looks like i might of lost my diffs to someone else. and am in desperate need, long story but wheres somewhere to buy rebuild, for a decent price?
