They took the fonts for each series run and matched the layout of the factory and implemented them on the HDX series.  They are all the same Kit just the faces are different.  I like the 76 and 79 versions the most.

For reference:

73-75 then 76-78 and then 79 up are the options for those of you who haven't seen them.

Sorry, I'm not technically advanced enough to get the pictures to load through my phone. The best I can do is post the link to their website.

VZ I thing the 76-78 are the best pick, color banding, ranges, just strike me as closer to period correctness, except now I want to go look at my '78!

I guess I'm just nostalgic.

Thanks RossVE, but they just don't do it for me. Please forgive... ;)

I made a decision on the cluster. I almost put the stock cluster back in but I like the 76 cluster better and this one is mint. 76-77 cluster is almost identical with the exception of 77 having a choke light and the brake warning lamp being in the speedo on the 76. I like the blue lines vs no lines and white lines.

The factory lens was near mint, with one small blemish so I used a repro lens and polished out the other for the cluster on my 75.

Back on the 74 again. (I realize none of my prior pictures are showing up again thanks to a security add on google did to google photos. Can't win. I'll restore them when I have nothing better to do.)

I decided to just build another bed and use this one to become an organ donor for the Jimmy since rear quarters are no longer available and I no longer want a roll pan. I already have another new floor, front panel, and bedsides so I'm just going to start over and reuse the tailgate and wheel wells.

Test fit the NOS dash pad and headliner, window gaskets etc. I'm also going to raise the front, this thing is way too low to the ground.

I have been very bad about updating my projects lately but I have been working relentlessly on them. I replaced the front springs and brought the front end up 2", reinstalled dual tanks, new plumbing, switching valve, wiring etc. I welded up all of the driver's side door inner panel provisions for the larger door panel and made it period correct for the short door panels. It was a GM door but 77 up style. I dialed in the body lines better and moved the battery back to the oe location. I should have everything ready for paint for the front half before the end of April then on to the bed. I'll get pix uploaded this weekend.

Got sucked into a kitchen remodel. New granite counters, painting, etc. Took the top off the Blazer and got to enjoy this weather as well. Here are some pics, I installed dual tanks and everything is functional. One of the things I did was installed EFI tanks and you have to modify the float to clear the baffle. I did this because I plan on doing a sniper setup later on. Finished the cab and the doors. Have to do a few things to the upper radiator support and then onto the bed. I reworked the wiring harness and moved things around. Lots to do still...

Okay not sure what the deal is but my file is too large even when I've shrunk it down to squinting size. I'll try again later.
