I have a 1973 Chevy C10 pickup, long bed, 350 motor, with 350 turbo transmission.
I want to install security alarm in my truck, the kind that will alert me if someone opens the hood, the doors and the tailgate.
So if any of you guys know of a good alarm that i can install in my truck I'd be grateful for your input, thank you my fellow chevy truckers.

the only type of switch that comes to mind would be the gravity switch that gm used to automatically turn on the hood light. i would take that switch and somehow wire that into an alarm so when the hood opens it connects the circuit and alarm goes off and im sure you could do the same to the door jam switch for the light again somehow have to going to alarm. besides that, thats all i can help you with

That was a mercury switch, wasn't it? Could tie it into the horn!
