Tachometer for 81 Chevy k10

I don't have a tac in my truck, guess some came with it. Any recommendations for installing an after market tac.

The gauges I currently have is: Speedo, Fuel, Oil, Bat, Temp, and a Clock. I figure I will need a tachometer gauge with my new engine. Would not mind removing the clock, just don't think it will fit there. My Speedometer and Fuel are the large gauges.

Popular retrofit is the small fuel gauge and tach in place of the fuel gauge and then you can keep oem gauges.

Can you tell me where I can get a good quality Tach that will fit where the clock is located? That would be awesome! How about the forum store?

They dont make a small tach for the smaller locations, just a fuel for the small side and a tach to replace the large fuel gauge.
We dont currently sell the factory replacement style gauges, we sell Dakota Digital Gauges instead: http://store.73-87chevytrucks.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=7&Category_Code=7G

Hard to make out! Does the large gauge on right in the RTX-79C-PU have the RPM? Also does the stock harness connect to these or do you have to do some rewiring?

RPM on the right, speedo left, all of these require wiring to a control box.
This is both the Dakota and LS wiring in my personal truck http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=12120.60
It is very simple process and comes with all the required sensors

RTX = Retro, they were modeled after the original dash layouts for each year split.  73-75. 76-78, 79-87(91)

I prefer the look of these also.   I am only showing as Mike asked and this is the reason we don't offer factory replacement

Not sure how much work it will take to install. However I like the RTX gauges. I noticed on the Dakota WEB site they say you can add 16 extra gauges. I did not look at all of it yet but will look into it and what is all involved to install it. Many color options as well!
