New Person from Dayton Ohio
« on: January 07, 2008, 04:11:01 PM »
Hello Everybody!

Just an Ohio Chevy nut here, my name's Matt. I've had all kinds of Chevys over the years but I drug home a 78 K-10 the other day and I plan to patch this 1 up. It's a 350/T350, 203 case full timer, reg cab with factory A/C, and a wooden flat bed. Huh, a bigger hillbilly than me is out there! It's not much to speak of now but it's about to get the 5 peice kit on the cab, fenders and doors, a 6" lift, 35/12.50s, and maybe a stepside bed. It's a 120" wheel base. Is that bed going to work? I've not measured 1 and not sure what came on the truck. My wife fell in love with it when I came home, which doesn't normally happen! I also have a 98 4wd S-Blazer, 92 4wd S-Blazer, 85 El-Camino, 83 Pontiac Grand Prix. I also have a PRO 4 ford ranger race truck. I know,,,, "A WHAT!?" Well as far as 4cyl race engines the 2.3 pinto engines are the choice of modified 4 cyl racers and the body was on it when I got it. It's the track fast lap record holder for the ministock trucks at Kil-Kare Speedway in Xenia Oh. I'm gonna rebody it with a Chevy Colorado ARCA body.
I'm an auto mechanic for Montgomery County, married, a son 19 and daughter 16. Got a black lab named Angus and a Chihuhu dog Named Huey. Love wheelin, racin, boatin at Dale Hollow Lake TN,(well anywhere but,,,) and campin whenever I can.   Nice to meet you guys and I'll try to get some picks o my stuff.

welcome aboard man!  the "120" you measured sounds to me like the 117.5 SWB chassis to me...which means that your stepside will work just fine (providing it is a SB stepside...they made 'em in LB's too...)

sounds like you have one heck of a collection and your choices in vehicles is spot-on!  you should fit in great here!
