Sold my 1980 and found a 1971 c10 I'm trying to buy. It's in better shape and is the body style/front grill style I love. If my atm would let me take out more $ I'd have it tomorrow. Let's hope the guy doesn't sell it before I can get to him Monday.

Only real rust is in the rockers and that's not bad. My 80 needed a new firewall and floor boards.

Now that's more like it! Nice ride. I like how the 70a wheel well fits tires better.

What's under the hood??? If you have to ask maybe we shouldn't race...

Yeah I love this year. My neighbor just bought a restored 69 shortbed yesterday. His has stock wheels and mine looks much beefier with the wide wheels.

It has a stock 350 with 350 tranny. Except the last guy changed it from three on the tree to auto on the floor. Very weird set up. Last guy put in power steering also.

It's crazy, the 71 has barely any rust compared to the 80. It's overall a cleaner truck, even came with some classic 1971 tags.

It definitely needs rockers and a new tailgate. The tailgate is going to be hard to find.

Yeah, I'm going to search some salvage yards first.

It's always fun figuring out what the last owner did/screwed up lol. I wish I could find a untouched classic truck.
