Is my water pump supposed to have these holes?
« on: January 05, 2017, 01:25:27 PM »
I got a new water pump (AC Delco), and there is a small hole at the top and a small hole at the bottom.

Should these be plugged?

Seals are going bad when you see em' dribbling water/anti freeze, better get the pump replaced soon.

Here is a side-by-side. As you can see, coolant was coming out of the weep hole of the old one.
