Could make door panel pockets and sell them if they are hard to get.
Believe manufacturers have made new model vehicles more complicated to work on than they need to be and it also feels like they make parts cheap (perhaps for them to break down) to make money off of repairs. Then again so much is made in foreign countries with little to no quality control.

Everything is made so cheap now. Looking at the photos of the reproductions I noticed they opted for single stitching at the top of the bag versus the original had two rows of stitching, 1 row above elastic and one below elastic. I chose to mimic the original design.
My family is from Michigan, I was born there and I have spent 1/3 of my life there. I reference this only because Michigan has a great deal of automotive makers and suppliers and most of my family members have or do work(ed) in automotive manufacturing. So much of that craftsmanship has been replaced by machinery and although it’s helpful and necessary it’s sad to know quantity supersedes quality.
I could tell by looking at the original door panel bag how much of it was hand crafted and although a machine sewed it there was a person doing them 1 by 1 and I wanted to stay true to that as much as possible.
Sorry for the long response its just one of those things that feels like a lost craft/art if you will.

Finally got the gauges and bezel back on! It’s still going to have to come off again to install wiper switch and radio.
A continued work in progress but everything seems to fit and more importantly I remembered how it all went together. Lol

Thank you! I’m excited to get started on the upholstery.
Plus I’m loving that I get to clean up all that mess under the seat and get rid of the dirty secrets that have been hiding under there. Lol

Next time I pull my seat out, I'll be doing some version of sound-deadener....I have a Scottsdale, with no carpet or headliner, and Tucson's "streets" are fresh out of a war-zone.

I would avoid 'Hushmat'
It dries up and cracks.

I can’t decide what has more dirt, the seat or desert ground?
The fact that I’m putting these filthy pieces on my dining room table is just so wrong.

Clearly, your dining room table is in the way of your workbench...

It truly is. I can’t deny that. The only scraps you will find under my table are from fabric or car parts. Lol
