Title: 6.5 idle adjustment
Post by: fmxr47 on August 10, 2016, 08:46:19 PM
Hi all, turned up the pump on my mechanical 6.5 now my idle is higher than before, I turned up the pump through the top cover and had the governor out, I'm wondering if the guide pin with the Allen and jam but is the culprit because when I removed it I forgot to count the turns... Any help is appreciated. I also tried the idle screw on the throttle plate and nothing changed(http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160811/4a8418881bf9a8ed3299ea7653387779.jpg)

This is what I had out of there, the pin was the one coming through the back of the pump
