fuses?

last night i got in my truck and fired it up. but my run lights arent working, or the lights in my guages. i cut the wires on the floorboardlight because it didnt work and now this happens. but all the fuses i checked seemed to be fine. what would it be?

     Is the wire for the floorboard light that you cut touching something and shorting out the others ?

no it doesnt even have power to it now.it did for a fraction of a second then i pulled it off

I think I know what it is, but first check a few things. Get to the headlamp switch and disconnect it's connector. Test for power on the larger red wire and the orange wire. You should have power at all times on both.

Why did you cut the wires? Sounds like you blew a fusible link
