I do not have a crew cab but the other day I saw a crew cab step-side. Is that a rare truck?
-
home made as far as i know. was it a 8 or 6 ft bed?
-
Utilities used them, most were standard cabs but I've seen them in crew cabs
-
No such thing as a rare squarebody. GM made millions of them.
This sounds like a public utilities work vehicle. Letric, Water, Phone, County, State, Town, ...

Agreed, utilities tended to use step side bodies, I've seen a few, no clue as to why they actually chose a stepside

Cheaper when you're going to put a utility body on anyway.
Cab n chassis was more expensive than a regular truck?

It was a short bed ,most utilities I have seen were long beds.

There are some rare ones out there. Most are common, though there are rare ones.
