Auto and three on the tree switches are on the base of the steering column inside the cab.

4 speed is on the transmission.

From orbit via Android.

the BU switch is part of the neutral safety switch. it is at the base of the steering column right up against the firewall. there will be two wires running to it and two wires running from it. A DK BLUE wire that runs over to the fuse panel at the TURN B/U fuse position. A LT GREEN wire that will run over to the bulkhead connector. This LT GRN wire runs all the way back to the rear harness plug and then to the lamp sockets. It powers the BU light bulbs. It will also have a PURPLE wire that runs to the hazard flasher on the fuse panel and a YELLOW wire that runs up to the ignition switch.

Here is what I would check and in this order.

- check grounds in engine bay and behind left tail light.
- check TURN B/U fuse it could be broken near end and you can't see, steal another fuse to test for function
- check wiring connections on neutral safety switch
- swap hazard flasher with turn signal flasher or vice versa to see if that fixes it
- get a test light, connect to a ground then probe LT GREEN wire on bulkhead connector inside engine bay (see picture below) when you put in reverse.. bulb should light, if so continue on (if not then you know the problem is inside the cab)
- use test light and probe light green socket at rear harness connector (should be right at driver side frame rail where spare tire mounts). if test light comes on then continue (if not then you have a wire problem somewhere between bulkhead connector and rear harness)
- use test light and probe post on socket, if light comes on then continue (if not then check for corrosion in lamp socket, clean accordingly)
- check bulb filament and also for proper bulbs in the correct socket (a single post bulb in a two post socket and vice versa)

you can use the test light to confirm brake light/running light operation the same way by probing the other wires at bulkhead/rear harness plug. Brown for running lamps, DK Green for passenger side brake/turn, Yellow for driver side brake/turn.
