I have to have carb screws two turns out. And I have to have the timing set off the gauge. Probably at 16 are 18. Can not turn it any more to the right. That's the best I can get it at idle without dying. As fare as I know the 350 is an 87 to 95 year. With a stock 1974 intake and four barrel. Electric fuel pump around 4 pounds. The motor has a bigger cam not sure how big. When it's cold, lot of power. Warms up. Looses power on the start off. If I go three turns out with carb jets I get a lot more power but smells pretty rich. If I turn down timing it back fires. Spark plugs set around .38 Never had this much trouble tuning before. I might need to re-stab distributed and get a bigger gap on plugs. What do y'all think. Can use some help.
