Are you guys using a mounting kit from Crutchfield or something to get it to sit there so nice? My truck is in dire need of a new deck and speakers.

I thought the system sounded good, especially for $94.  Id buy it again.  I've since then upgraded everything since my rebuild, but my buddy still has that same set in his truck.  I gave him mine so he could replace anything that breaks without a big search.

no kit, just plan carefully and cut the hole slowly.  I cut mine out underiszed a bit with a jigsaw and then hand filed it out to fit properly.  A dremel would probably cut the work down.

Here is what I throw together this truck is just a parts truck I am teaching my son to drive in.

Not sure but I think I will do this again and close in the radio spot just have to figure out what to do with the trim piece so it will look finished

Just zip tied them in not too much bounce in em :)

cut some scrap lumber to make "boxes" for the 6X9 not sure if I will make it out of metal next time.

I am tone deaf so I can not tell you if it sounds good (sounds great to me but I am told that I dont what sounds good is lol) that speaker wire is not for the speakers just what I used to replace the back window

I actual like it there since then I dont have to mess with the radio when driving if I have a passenger.

Best placement for a radio I ever saw was in some old cadillac.  the radio was to the left of the steering column.  I'd love that, then they and can't get to the radio, especially the GF. :D
