84 Sierra multi function switch removal
« on: February 18, 2023, 05:42:16 AM »
Good Morning everyone. I have an 84 Sierra 2500, with a non tilt, non cruise column, and I need to replace the MF switch(Turn signal, wipers(. but can't pull the old one out to replace it. I believe I should just pull straight out to remove it, but it won't budge, and I don't want to break it. Any suggestions.
Thanks

The column doesn't use a multi-function switch.  Each switch is separate and distinct.  To service the switches, you must remove the horn contacts, steering wheel, dust shield, and lock plate.  The switches then come out through the top of the column.
