Well the upside is you have a lot of new parts on your truck! Although VZ's term "parts canon" begs to weigh in... ::)

I had a '66 Olds Toronado that had me floored as to why I had to completely advance the timing to get it to start.

Changed out the starter with a stronger one from a Eldorado, timing chain, ignition components, only to find that the coil had melted due to incorrect wiring.  >:(

Glad this ended well.
