I am coming in at about 1,000 lb. over curb weight. I only weigh 200 lb and I carry minimal stuff in the truck...maybe, just maybe 100 extra lb. So that is still an unaccounted for 700 lb. I am running 35" Toyo Open Country Tires which are a little heavy over other tires, so that probably accounts for some, and I am sure the dump scales are not that accurate or precise.

so its finally got cold enough i had to add a second battery.
so i got a new battery that was the same amps as the other.
this being a gas motor i had the charcoal canister so i had to make room for the battery to sit in place, so it had to go.
the bracket from the canister would now double as the bracket for my battery
now i never had something i built fail so i may have over done with strength, but it held up. so i added a couple braces, they aint the strongest thing but anything else i thought would be overkill
i also added another bolt to hold it more to the fender
and a bungee cord to hold it down lol if you look you can see the washers i welded to it also. the bungee is temp till i make another hold down
