Interior Carpet Questions
« on: November 04, 2010, 04:07:02 PM »
Was there ever an option for black carpet in a Burb?  My rear carpet it totally shot and all stained up with big holes and battery acid spots etc, and I would like to replace it with a piece that is black, to hide future stains.  If it was a factory option, I'll go searching for it in junkyards, but I hate searching for stuff that might not even exist.  Thanks.

Dont know if it was an option or not, but you will be able to find black carpet for it. The store here sells carpet, check the store link at the top.

I ordered the black ACC carpet kit from Chris, with the mass backing, and it is awesome. Not sure if he has it for suburbans though....

ACC is a good brand.  I've had my carpet with matching floor mats from ACC for about 2 years now and it still looks really good.   the carpet looks new and the floor mats still look really good, just a bit dirty... ;)

I appreciate the responses, but no one has yet to answer the question at hand.  Will I be able to search junkyards for a single piece of black interior carpet, unique to a Suburban?

I know it isnt an answer, but if you go to the junk yard and find carpet in good condition, then you can dye it.

Yes I can get carpet for just about anything.  If ACC makes it, I sell it.
Suburbans included.

I just installed a brand new set (front and rear) carpet from ACC with mass backing and it turned out GREAT!  Huge improvement.

Get some samples to match exactly what you want.
