Crankshaft Rotating Assembly
« on: January 10, 2024, 01:12:18 PM »
Does everyone balance their Crankshaft rotating assembly? I need to get a crankshaft turned or buy a new one in an engine I am building and was wondering about balancing.

I cannot find anyone in my area that will balance the crankshaft rotating assembly and now I am thinking about buying a balanced assembly. It is a shame, since all I need is the crankshaft worked. If I start buying new parts I will end up going much further with it.

I am in Central AL and am looking at moving north eventually. I am house hunting! I have a new crankshaft ordered and it is supposed to come in today. I am also looking at new 202 intake heads and a cam. I already have 10.1 pistons and my engine is bored to a 357.

If you are going to recam with high flow heads, migrate to a roller and rev kit.
