c notch

im building a 1983 chevy stepside 2wd and i have a 3/5 lowering kit for it 3 in coils in front  and flip kit in the front i was wondering if theres anywhere i can buy c notches most ive seen are bolt on so thats what id like but i cant find them with out being in a kit cuz i dont need the hole lowering kit just the notches so any info would be great thanks 8)

wow thanks for the fast response the kit i bought didnt come withe the notches but as i looked at my frame and the blocks for the flip kit sitting on the leaf springs i figured it wouldnt hurt to go ahaed and get them so i dont have any issues later down the road thanks again 8)

I just bought smaller bump stops and cut off the brackets for it. I got lots of space now.

I believe the reason your kit didn't come with them is because you wont need them. Just as 386 said...knock the rivets out of the bumper brackets & you'll have plenty of room. You can either buy the flat bolt-on ones & drill a hole in the frame or make a "L" shaped bracket & reuse the original bump stops beside the frame.  Lorne

I just took the bump stop brackets off mine and put the little flat bumpstop on it. I have never bottomed out, yet.

ya i guess that would be a good reason as to y i dont have them lol i also never thought of tkaeing the old bump stop off and using a smaller one thanks 8)
