Friday, May 15th, 2015: I was supposed to have a passenger side door opening for the bed but it didn't get here in time so the body guy ended up just swapping each to either side.  I still has times it will bareley open but it does work.

Sunday, May 24th, 2015: I started on the beginning process of getting the hole in the bed for the Blazer filler.  Had to go buy a few more hole saws and body saw blades but it was a start.  When I ordered all of my piping for my turbo setup I also ordered some stainless tubing for just this reason, you can see one piece in the foreground here.

Monday, May 25th, 2015: At this point I had worked on this for a while.  I had a fab'd filler I was working with to see if it was going to work (it ended up not working).  I did get the fill piece and the filler mounted in the hole, but the filler wasn't going to work with what I had.  It needed to turn into the cross sill...

Thursday, May 28th, 2015: Due to space confinements and the location I needed to drill a hole in the cross sill I had to remove the inner fender on the bed. It was at this point I realized that I had to have the Blazer filler neck to make this happen.

Friday, May 29th, 2015: I had ordered some gauges for my Pillar Pod that I was going to actually use.  I got carbon fiber to closely match my Dakota setup.  I purchased a EGT, Wide Band and Boost.  My plans were to get them connected and in used before Power Tour.  I can tell you now that didn't happen, and it still hasn't happened...

Saturday, May 30th, 2015: Back on the Filler and bed.  I got the pieces of stainless tape marked where I wanted to cut them. I went to a buddys to have them cut on his band saw that afternoon.

I drilled a different hole in the cross sill near the end of the wheel opening.

I kept waiting for the Blazer filler to get here and I finally stole the filler from my 2WD converted Blazer so I can get this one on the road.  Not what I wanted to do but Power Tour was getting closer and I couldn't wait.  This is it installed

Sunday, May 31st, 2015: With all the pieces (hopefully) in place I removed the matching bed from the truck.

Had my brother come over to assist, not shown, but the bed was in this position A LOT while we tweaked the tubes.  I should have cut a slot in the cross sill and plated it, but at this time in the game it was WAY to late.  We worked on it for 3 hours sneaking up on getting it on there.

This is the Money shot.  After a number of hours working on this I had him follow me to a gas station I knew I could not fill it from.  I dropped it in the filler and watched it, safely out of the rain.

Sunday, June 7th, 2015: The seal on the rear end had gotten to the point I really wanted to replace it prior to leaving on Power Tour. With seal in hand I proceded to get after it.  With the wheel removed, you can see it was pretty bad.  Keeping in mind the truck was not washed for probably a good 6 months...

I pulled the pumpkin cover to get the cross pin out to remove the axle.

Probably couldn't see it in the above pic, but when I removed the pin, I found I had an issue...

Since Power Tour started in 2 days.  I chose to drop the pin back in the truck and follow it up with some lock tite and hope for the best.

Tuesday, June 9th, 2015: This was our first stop for gas on Power Tour 2015!  Note that the 3 trucks pictured didn't get gas.
2000 Silverado got the best mpg at 18, mine got 17.5.  I was pleasantly surprised.

My truck made it through the 3 stops we went to without an issue.  My brothers 2000 Silverado blew a relay on the 2nd day on the way back to Birmingham. We stopped to meet someone and his truck was pouring smoke out the back.  The scavenge pump for his remote turbo wasn't pumping the oil back.  We spent about 2 hours trying to figure it out and finally found the bad relay and a spare (in his console of all places)

This is a pic of us on the other issue, a Challenger blew the oil sender out and we spend a good while on the side of the road finding parts to get him going.

Saturday, June 13th, 2015: Spent the afternoon washing the truck.  Went after the rust on the one side with some CLR and got the streaked stain off the side pretty well.  Not as pretty as before, but I can fill up the tank.  Funny thing about this is the truck was never washed before nor during Power Tour.  It took me getting home to find time to actually clean it.

Thursday, June 18th, 2015: I was dropping off some Pillar Pods that were ordered and someone wanted a picture of them and my new gauges installed (which are STILL not hooked up)

Monday, August 31st, 2015: During the week prior I was browsing Craigslist as I normally do and I found a T56 out of a 2007 CTS-V.  I recognized the number as the guy that welded my turbo setup for me.  I called him, we made a deal and I got this thing from a REALLY good price.  It probably won't go in this truck but I didn't have anywhere to put it, so..  Plans are to drill out an F-body Tailsection for an HHR mainshaft and swap everything over to make a stronger trans.

Saturday, September 5th, 2015: Ever since returning from Power Tour I have been topping off my Anti-Freeze.  I planned to go to LS Fest on the Sept 11th, so I had to figure this out.  I cleaned off the radiator and drove it pretty hard for a few days and this is what I discovered.  I have no idea how that dent got there, but apparently I have leak.  I ended up putting the aluminum radiator I had in the truck prior back in.  Since that time I haven't had any issues out of the truck.
