Im looking into getting the paint for Oldyellers truck. If all goes well, I might try to paint it this spring. The problem is I need to find the best place to get the paint mixed. I have seen others this color repainted and they did a horrible job matching the original yellow. I have also tried to find the paint chips online with no luck. The yellow is 53 and the tan is 60 (santa fe) Any suggestions? I dont want the color to come out any different than what was stock.

Chop, the Yellow is called Colonial Yellow and it is the same color for 81 (1st year) thru 84. The PPG number is 2929.
You can see it on this page:

Check with Sherwin-Williams Automobile finishes. They should be able to mix it for you.
