I got my Western Chassis Drop Kit!!! Powdercoated the spindles today!! A whole table full of parts. I'm replacing every bushing and wear item. New Master Cylinder.... Coated that one green!
This powder coating thing is kinda addicting.....

Looks like fun!
Are you powder coating DYI as in large microwave?
My neighbor does that and swears by it.

So, I spent a ton of time cleaning and powdercoating.....
Took the control arms to a local shop to press the bushings and shafts in..... and they BENT a LCA!!!
I ended up just going to Harbor Freight and buying a press.... The shop is getting me a "new" LCA... ugh.
Other weirdness, the Bushings for the UCA dont fit! I got Duralast Bushings from Autozone AND Moog's... The outer diameter of the bushings are too big.... Trying to press them in, and I messed up the UCA.... Ended up having to order new loaded arms...... double ugh.... Hopefully I get this done next week..

Something doesn't seem right...
I bought the red ones from Summit and used an oversize socket and air hammer, they went right in.
Sound's like you got the wrong weight rating.
Oh well, it's only money, right?!?!?

Yeah, something is goofy..... but the originals are fubar’d at this point.
There is only one size bushing listed for the UCA... it’s a C-10, not a 20.... it is a “Heavy Half” but everything seems to be C-10 specific.
