12 years ago I had a 78 chevy truck with a 350 and the motor started knocking in it so I swapped in a 229 ci 3.8 chevy v6 into the truck just because it was laying around. That motor actually pulled the truck very well but it drank just as much fuel as that 350. I don't remember what I ever did with that truck though I think I sold it.
