Where to find transfer case torque mount?
« on: July 17, 2009, 01:37:54 PM »
Hey guys, I am swapping in a th350 and np205 in my 76 k20.  I am having trouble locating the torque mount that goes from the transfer case to the frame.  I know early full size blazers used this style mount, but I've had no luck at any salvage yards around here.    only sells the bushings for this mount, but not the mount itself.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Is it the mount that looks like 2 pieces of heavy angle iron, one bolted to the frame and one to the transfer case? ;)
If your failing in the salvage yards, try the dealership.  They have surprised me more than once on what they can still order.
